There is enough water in the Bulgarian mountains. In many places, along the tourist routes, there are many springs and small streams. In Bulgaria there are no animals (like beavers for example) that infect water with dangerous viruses. You just have to be careful that there are no herds of sheep or cows nearby that could pollute the water. In the high mountains there is no danger of drinking water from all sources.
